Mounting with Kerberos+NFSv4 fails with "Permission denied" error message.

Solution Unverified - Updated -

Issue

  • While mounting nfs4 share in an IPA environment it fails with an error message "Permission denied".
# mount -t nfs4 -vvv -o sec=krb5,proto=tcp nfsserver.example.com:/share /mnt
mount.nfs4: Permission denied
  • Relevant "/var/log/message" logs from the NFS client
