acroread plugin stops rendering page after repeated page loads

Issue

• We still use the acroread-plugin with firefox in our production environment.

• After repeatedly viewing a document, at some point the plugin stops rendering the page and they are left with a white page.
• The issue can be reproduced by rapidly hitting reload button.
• No excessive load seen on the system at the time of issue, and the acroread process is still running, not defunct.
• The pdfjs plugin will not address the needs as it has no form support at this stage.
