My /boot partition has been deleted, how do I recreate this partition?
Issue
- The
/boot (/dev/sda1)
was added to a logical disk volume by mistake, and all data under/boot
is destroyed . - Used
fdisk
to createLVM
device (added lvm flag) on/boot (multipath device from powerpath or DM-Multipath)
. No pvcreate command was run on the device yet. - How can I reconfigure
/boot
with grub and kernel files? - Filesystem corruption deleted the files under
/boot
Environment
