Cannot authenticate over ODBC with Kerberos when using DV VDB level security

Issue

  • Trying to configure a VDB to authenticate over ODBC with Kerberos, receive the below error when trying to log on with Kerberos:
TEIID40015 Unexpected error occurred: org.teiid.client.security.LogonException: TEIID40055 Wrong logon method is being used. Server is not set up for Kerberos based authentication.

Environment

  • Red Hat JBoss Data Virtualization (DV) 6.1
  • ODBC connection to DV using Kerberos Authentication
