Why does Graphical installer not offering an option to disable the firewall in Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7?

Issue

  • Installed a Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.1 system using the graphical installer (through VNC).
  • The installed system has firewalld installed and activated even though there is no option to configure this in the installer.
  • Kickstart has an option to configure this, why does the graphical installer not have this option?
