Agent fails to start after JBoss ON update applied on IBM AIX host

Issue

  • Failed to start - make sure the RHQ Agent is fully configured properly

  • Agent fails to start after update and rhq-agent-wrapper.log includes:

    Error: Could not find or load main class org.rhq.enterprise.agent.AgentMain

Environment

  • Red Hat JBoss Operations Network (ON) 3.3
  • JBoss ON 3.3 update-03 has been applied
  • IBM AIX on PPC64
