Resolution on X Server does not work correct when no monitor attached
Issue
- We have installed RHEL6 system remote to users and it is accessed through KVM Extender.
- Display resolution defaults to 1024x768, if no monitor is connected to the KVM extender during startup of X
- Monitor connected later supports resolution of 1280x1024.
- With no display connected during X startup, the maximum resolution displayed is 1024x768
- How can preconfigure X to always use desired resolution?
