Issue

  • Client cannot distinguish between incorrect credentials and connectivity issues
  • Is it possible to distinguish between connection and authentication problems if an EJB invocation fail?
  • If an EJB invocation fail the only message is show below, there is no root cause which shows the underlying issue
Caused by: java.lang.IllegalStateException: EJBCLIENT000025: No EJB receiver available for handling [appName:Domain, moduleName:Domain, distinctName:] combination for invocation context org.jboss.ejb.client.EJBClientInvocationContext@a38b476
