VM running on several hypervisors simultaneously causing disk corruptions

Solution Verified - Updated -

Issue

If a host goes Non Responsive in the environment, it gets fenced. However once the VMs are started again, they seem to be running on several hosts at once. "host" field changes, and the VM has to be stopped twice. Afterwards the disk is corrupted. How can this be fixed?
