new lun size is not getting updated for the emc powerpath disks after disk extended from the storage end

Issue

• Our current practice is to rescan for new or expanded disks, but most of the time, this fails to detect the new or expanded disks so we need to reboot. We use EMC storage arrays for the SAN.
