Issue

  • Converted VMs (virtual machine) from VMware using virt-v2v uses full disk allocation while importing to RHEV.
  • Data domain type on RHEV is FC.
  • VMs are conveted using the options qcow2 and sparse. Conversion command used is,
virt-v2v -of qcow2 -oa sparse -ic esx://<vmware_ip>/?no_verify=1 -o rhev -os import_domain:/nfs_export VM_Name
