RHEL7.1: contents of /proc/fs/nfsfs/volumes now equal to /proc/fs/nfsfs/servers

Solution In Progress - Updated -

Issue

  • The contents of /proc/fs/nfsfs/volumes no longer contains expected content.
  • Contents of /proc/fs/nfsfs/volumes equals /proc/fs/nfsfs/servers which is incorrect
 cat /proc/fs/nfsfs/volumes
NV SERVER PORT USE HOSTNAME
v4 c0a87a25 801 1 rhel7-nfs-server
# cat /proc/fs/nfsfs/servers
NV SERVER PORT USE HOSTNAME
v4 c0a87a25 801 1 rhel7-nfs-server
  • On RHEL7.0 kernel-3.10.0-123.el7 the expected content is seen inside /proc/fs/nfsfs/volumes
# cat /proc/fs/nfsfs/volumes
NV SERVER PORT DEV FSID FSC
v4 c0a87a25 801 0:38 fd0000000000:0 no
# cat /proc/fs/nfsfs/servers
NV SERVER PORT USE HOSTNAME
v4 c0a87a25 801 1 rhel7-nfs-server
