Issue

  • rx_errors increasing on Mellanox ConnectX mlx4 Infiniband network interface

  • ethtool -S ethX reports rx_errors:

eth5  rx_errors: 3554
  • ifconfig reports errors:
# ifconfig ethX
ethX      Link encap:Ethernet  HWaddr 00:02:C9:aa:bb:cc  
          RX packets:5703388 errors:3736 dropped:0 overruns:0 frame:0
  • netstat reports errors:
# netstat -i
