Firefox update breaks authentication
Issue
- After applying
RHSA-2015-0998, Firefox no longer works with some sites that prompt for authentication. - It repeatedly asks for your password, regardless of whether it is right or wrong.
- Problem is observed only after upgrade to firefox 38
- Downgrading firefox to the previous version (31) restores functionality.
- Firefox 38.0 on Windows does not have this issue.
