Is it recommended to copy configuration files from one environment to another environment in JBoss EAP 6

Issue

We have differnet environments(Ex.DEV, QA and Prod).we have created everything`(profiles, server-groups, resources, datasource,etc.. ) in DEV environment. Is it possible to move this domain configuration to QA or PROD environments by coping the configuration files ?
