dlm_send and dlm_controld are hung when a cluster node is being removed from the cluster

Issue

  • dlm_send and dlm_controld are hung when a cluster node is being removed from the cluster. There was a hung_task timeout messages like the following written to /var/log/messages:
INFO: task dlm_controld:8009 blocked for more than 120 seconds.
"echo 0 > /proc/sys/kernel/hung_task_timeout_secs" disables this message.
