RHEL 6 NFS server refuses mount request after nfs-utils upgrade: "getfh failed: Operation not permitted"
Issue
- After the upgrade of RHEL 6.1 servers (nfs-utils package), which are sharing NFS shares, below errors are seen. NFS clients were not able to mount the shares. Downgrading the
nfs-utilspackage from versionnfs-utils-1.2.3-15.el6_2.1.x86_64tonfs-utils-1.2.3-15.el6.x86_64resolves the problem.
