How to create a ds.xml file for JBoss EAP 6.x/7.x ?

Issue

• The *-ds.xml file that was used for EAP 5 no longer works for EAP 6.
• What needs to be done in order to deploy the datasource configuration file ( *-ds.xml) from EAP 5 in EAP 6?
• Is there a way to create separate xml file for datasource and deploy it in the deployment directory?
• Can you please advise how we can deploy the datasources in a separate file in EAP 6 ?
• In existing JBOSS 5.1.2. we have more than 20 Datasources and each one of these datasources defination is in a separate file. Can you please advise how we can deploy the datasources each one in a separate file in EAP 6 ?.
