System fails to boot, "/dev/sda1 is mounted. e2fsck: Cannot continue, aborting" message appears for the '/boot' partition.
Issue
- System fails to boot after upgrading the kernel and other packages. Following message was seen on the console for the
/bootpartition before asking "Give root password for maintenance"./bootis on internal disk/dev/sda.
