NFSv4 automounts getting nobody:nobody ownership on NIS [Solaris] clients
Issue
NFSv4 automounts getting nobody:nobody ownership on NIS [Solaris] clients.
This seems to be an issue on NFS side, not being able to pass down proper ownership.
You can test via a manual mount, that when NFSv3 is enforced, ownership looks good:
mount -t nfs -o vers=3 HOSTNAME:path/to/mount /mountpoint
Environment
NFS server: RHEL6
Automount server: RHEL6
NIS server: RHEL6
client: Solaris
