CUPS RHEL printing to Windows print server over IPP fails
Issue
- Print jobs won't print to Windows print server over IPP.
- I am setting up CUPS printing on a RHEL 6 server print to a Windows 2008 print server via domain authenticated IPP, although this will need to work with a Windows 2012 print server as well. Is this version of CUPS capable of doing IPP printing over http to a Windows Server 2008/2012 IPP server which requires domain authentication? Are there settings that I need to use?
Environment
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 6
- Common Unix Printing System (CUPS) 1.4.2
- Windows 2008 print server
- Printing via IPP (Internet Printing Protocol)
