Why cannot downgrade or add a gluster storage cluster of less than RHEV 3.5 which is Integrated with RHS 3.0 ?

Solution Verified - Updated -

Issue

  • Storage Cluster Compatibility value is increased from 3.4 to 3.5 where the storage nodes were in maintenance mode & than downgrade the storage cluster back to 3.4. However, received an error that cannot downgrade the cluster compatibility.

  • Tried to add a new gluster backed storage domain, but the default value for the Cluster is hard coded to 3.5 so cannot add a 3.4 cluster.
