Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.2 does not boot after successful installation on SUN FIRE X4450
Issue
- After installation of Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.2 / 6.0 on SUN FIRE X4450 server is not booting.
- After grub prompt, it only shows a flashing dash on the left corner.
- System runs without any problem with RHEL 5.4 and 5.8
Environment
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.2
- SUN FIRE X4450
- Controller is a aacraid version: 1.1-5[2461]
- RAID bus controller: Adaptec AAC-RAID (rev 09)
