The bcm5719 network cards are supported in the following Red Hat Enterprise Linux(RHEL):
- 5.8+
- 6.2+
- 7.1+

Rhel 5

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5.8 and above has been reported as working. Broadcom lists Rhel 5.7 as compatible.

Rhel 6

  • The bcm5719 network cards are supported in RHEL 6.2 with a Driver Update Disk.
  • The driver can be downloaded from RHEA-2012-0576 .

Rhel 7

  • The bcm5719 network card is supported in Rhel 7.1 and above.
