Clients cannot connect to Java server over SSLv3 after upgrading to OpenJDK 1.7.0.75 on RHEL

Issue

After patching last week, clients are reporting problems receiving Java exceptions :

AdaptiveAuthConnectorException:javax.net.ssl.: No appropriate protocol (protocol is disabled or cipher suites are inappropriate)

Java packages were updated during the patching from
java-1.7.0-openjdk.x86_64 1:1.7.0.71-2.5.3.1.el6 TO
java-1.7.0-openjdk.x86_64 1:1.7.0.75-2.5.4.0.el6_6
