Does systemd on RHEL7 contains support for the CPUQuota (cpu.cfs_quota_us) to assign a CPU time quota?

Issue

• We are building a rhel7 baseline and we see a problem.
• In RHEL6 we use cgroups with CPUQuota (cpu.cfs_quota_us ) to limit CPU processes.
• We use CPUQuota for all our management processes (cfengine / nagios / tivoli / etc.) and have just chosen CPUQuota not to disturb other processes.
• When measuring after using CPUQuota the improvement was detectable.
• We want to also use RHEL7 with systemd. But this is not available in RHEL7 with systemd version 208. It was introduced in systemd version 213.
