Netbackup fails on gvfs filesystem

Issue

Netbackup is reporting the following error:

02/05/2015 11:06:21 - Info bpbrm (pid=27967) from client backupserver: TRV - Cannot process path [/run/user/8341/gvfs]: [Permission denied]. Skipping

Previously the following command would resolve this error, but it is not longer working after applying updates to RHEL 7.

# allow root access to .gvfs for backups
fusermount -zu $HOME/.gvfs
/usr/libexec/gvfsd-fuse -o allow_root $HOME/.gvfs
