How to configure RHEL 6.5 to see the boot process logs?

Issue

  • Just completed a fresh install of RHEL 6.5 and noticed that during the re-boot process, from the console, we can no longer see the boot process as it occurs.
  • Unlike RHEL 5.X versions where the entire boot process can be viewed from the console (ie: we can see each service as it is started ans if it was successful or not).
  • How can we configure new RHEL 6.5 install to see the boot process?
