Why does ftp fail with error "Couldn't canonicalise No such file or directory" ?
Issue
[root@server1 ~]$ sftp user@x.x.x.x
Connecting to x.x.x.x...
sftp> ls -l
drwxrwxrwx 2 3002 1952 24576 Jan 13 18:05 log
lrwxrwxrwx 1 3036 1953 19 Jan 15 18:53 work
sftp> cd work
Couldn't canonicalise: No such file or directory
