Deleting a host from the IPA database does not remove the SSHFP Resource Records

Issue

  • ipa host-del --updatedns does not remove dns SSHFP RR
  • The A and PTR records are removed, but the SSHFP RR are not removed from DNS.

Environment

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 7
  • Red Hat Identity Management (IPA) server with integrated DNS enabled
