unable to create JMS Queue from Admin Console

Solution Verified - Updated -

Issue

  • When we create a JMS qeueue from Admin console giving the name and the JNDI name, the Default parameters for the DLQ and Expiry Queue and Server peer are not loaded .

This results into an error and the Queue is not created.

However the above behavior is not expected as the default values should be auto-populated.

The Jboss Documentation also mentions that we only need to provide the Name and the JNDI Name to create the JMS Queue.

Environment

  • Jboss Enterprise Application Platform (EAP)
    • 5.1.2
