How to plan for Disaster Recovery for SOA-P instances running in Production environments?
Issue
-
As part of
Disaster Recover (DR)
, users normally plan to set up another site with a replica of their currentProduction
server (which has got theirSOA-P
instances already running) and should enableactive-active
mode configuration. In such a scenario how to enable active-active mode configuration for the runningSOA-P
instances forProduction
environment. -
What if as part of the
Disaster Recovery
plans, users keep a replica of their database as well and the newSOA-P
servers inDisaster Recovery
site will be pointing to the database schema on replica database. So in this case bothProduction
andDisaster Recovery
site nodes can not be pointed to the same data base schema.
Thus in such an architecture users can not use cluster set up betweenProduction
site andDisaster Recovery
site. Is this architecture correct?
