qlogic card not logging in

Issue

  • qlogic card can't log into the fabric with this error
 kernel: qla2xxx -2087:2: No loop_id's available, portid=494c0.
 kernel: qla2xxx -2087:2: No loop_id's available, portid=494c0.
 kernel: qla2xxx -505f:2: Link is operational (4 Gbps).
 kernel: qla2xxx -2087:2: No loop_id's available, portid=494c0.

That particualr portid is assign for another storage device in fabric why qlogic can't negotiate?
