How to configure a Red Hat Cluster service to delay its start

Solution Verified - Updated -

Issue

  • Having a two node cluster, with services configured with preferred nodes and nofailback="1", when starting both nodes simultaneously, services not always starts on the preferred node, because rgmanager starts first on the non-preferred node. Is there a way to delay a service start?

Environment

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6
  • Red Hat Cluster Suite using rgmanager with services configured with preferred nodes and nofailback="1"
