Some PostScript and PDF files won't print in RHEL. A filter stops with status 1.
Issue
- Some PostScript files won't print due to a filter error.
- The list of print jobs in the queue keeps increasing and it seems some jobs never get printed.
Environment
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 5 and 6
- Common Unix Printing System (CUPS) 1.3.7 and 1.4.2
