Migrate org.jboss.ejb3.asynchronous to JBoss EAP 6 / JavaEE 6

Issue

  • We are migrating from JBoss 4 to EAP 6.3. They have a number of applications that use an older org.jboss.ejb3.asynchronous Java package. While it's possible to build the application and deploy it, EAP fails the deployment because of the missing dependency. Is there a way to have the application change its module dependencies to something that would support that older style of doing asynchronous calls?
