Is "net.ipv4.icmp_destunreach_rate" sysctl parameter available in RHEL?
Issue
- I am trying to add the parameter and value
net.ipv4.icmp_destunreach_rate = 0to the/etc/sysctl.conffile. - When I do and run
sysctl -pI get the error:
"net.ipv4.icmp_destunreach_rate" is an unknown key"
- I'm guessing that I'm missing a kernel module that would allow this, but not sure which one if so. Will you help me to do this please?
- Is this parameter supported in RHEL?
Environment
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 5 and 6.
- systctl kernel tunables.
