Why does Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.6 DVD installation fail with eror "file hunspell-en.0.20090216-7.1.el6.noarch.rpm cannot be opened/copied from DVD media" ?
Issue
- During installation of Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.6 using DVD media, the following error appears halting the installation.
..file hunspell-en.0.20090216-7.1.el6.noarch.rpm cannot be opened/copied
- The DVD then gets ejected and installer gives another message
"load the red hat install disk number 1".
- Re-checked the
md5 checksumand found it correct, re-burnt the DVD, re-ran the install and found exactly the same error at the same place. - Why does this happen?
