SSLv3 connections are still accepted in tomcat 6 after setting the protocol to TLS

Issue

  • After following to the documentation in tomcat-link, using the parameter sslProtocol does not reject the client communicating in SSLv3 when sslProtocol is set to accept TLS.

Environment

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)
    • Tomcat 6
