Eclipse crash with a cairo error in Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.6

Issue

• Applications which is having a dependency on Eclipse are getting aborted with a cairo error.

java: cairo-misc.c:380: _cairo_operator_bounded_by_source: Assertion `NOT_REACHED' failed

• Eclipse based IBM Installation Manager GUI crashes on RHEL 6.6
• Eclipse Kepler is giving an error after updating to RHEL 6.6
• Application was working fine on RHEL 6.5 . However after RHEL 6.6 update, it no longer works but exits with a cairo error.
