Excessive logging on java.lang.StackOverflowError with EJB3 serialization

Issue

  • I am getting excessive java.lang.StackOverflowError logging which is running into several GB of disk space during EJB3 session passivation.
  • When my application experiences StackOverflowError, the server log explodes with gigabytes of logs. How can I fix this?
