RHEL6: inconsistent behavior with chgrp and setuid / setgid bits on files
Issue
- RHEL6.5 has inconsistent behavior with chgrp and setuid / setgid bits. A chgrp on file clears setuid bit, but chgrp does not clear setgid bit.
Environment
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6
- seen on RHEL6.5, at least kernel 2.6.32-431.32.1.el6
- NFS or ext4 filesystem (other filesystems likely affected)
