  • Unable to create a new alert definition using REST API due to 406 - "The passed condition failed validation" error;
  • When I try to create a new alert definition using REST API, I get 406 error which means "The passed condition failed validation". What is wrong?

  • Creating of new alert definition using REST API fails and a WARN message is logged in the log file:

    WARN  [org.rhq.enterprise.server.util.CriteriaQueryRunner] (http-/10.33.0.12:7080-20) Could not initialize private org.rhq.core.domain.alert.AlertDefinition org.rhq.core.domain.alert.Alert.recoveryAlertDefinition
