Listing of NFSv3 share hangs with 'ls: reading directory .: Input/output error'
Issue
- When listing a directory on an NFS share the
lscommand hangs and prints the following error after being interrupted:
ls: reading directory .: Input/output error
Environment
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5.10 (
kernel-2.6.18-371.9.1.el5) as NFS client - NFS Network Filesystem
