Issue

  • Why is kickstart file trying to edit the directory /etc/sysconfig/rhn/clientCaps.d if generated from Satellite?
  • The kickstart file is generated from Satellite itself and it has a script which tries to modify the directory /etc/sysconfig/rhn/clientCaps.d as a file, why?
  • The following message is logged in the %post script logs.
Connecting to satellite.example.com|192.168.10.100|:80... connected.
HTTP request sent, awaiting response... 200 OK
Length: 5360 (5.2K) [text/plain]
Saving to: `/usr/share/rhn/RHN-ORG-TRUSTED-SSL-CERT'

     0K ..... 100% 12.2M=0s

12:24:07 (12.2 MB/s) - `/usr/share/rhn/RHN-ORG-TRUSTED-SSL-CERT' saved [5360/5360]

Can't do inplace edit: /etc/sysconfig/rhn/clientCaps.d is not a regular file.
