Not able to assign RHEL subscription to system as /proc/cpuinfo reporting wrong number of CPU sockets.
Issue
- A HP system with two dual core CPUs is not able to subscribe to a base channel as /proc/cpuinfo is reporting wrong number of Physical CPUs.
Environment
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5.8
- RHEL upto 2 socket or RHEL 1-2 socket subscription
