What happened to ifconfig in RHEL7?
Issue
"ifconfig" is missing in RHEL7:
[user@localhost ~]$ ifconfig
-bash: ifconfig: command not found
This is a problem. "ifconfig" is an essential networking tool.
Environment
This issue presents in all default installations of Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7 (RHEL7).
