load average on my HP server using hpvsa module always shows '6' or higher.

Issue

  • My HP server using hpvsa module , load average always shows 6 or higher.

  • When checking D state process/threads from ps command, following process always has state 'D'.

    0.0 D [PAL_EVENT]
0.0 D [ERROR]
0.0 D [RETRY]

    0.0 D [PARSE]
    0.0 D [CMPLT]
    0.0 D [IDLE]

    What is the cause of this behaviour ?
