Client side seeing Remote I/O error from mv operation

mv: cannot move `/data/a/b/raw/c/2014/201407/foo.BATS_20140704.gz' to `/data/a/b/raw/c/2014/201407/.trash/foo.BATS_20140704.gz': Remote I/O error

  • This issue seems to be intermittent and come and goes but has been reported for several times now. When the client keeps on trying then at some point the mv operation will be successful.
