[RHEV] Host failed to upgrade to "rhevh-6.5-20140725.0.el6ev" version.

Solution Verified - Updated -

Issue

  • RHEV hypervisor failed to upgrade from rhevh-6.2-20120510.0.el6_2 to rhevh-6.5-20140725.0.el6ev and marked as install failed in the rhevm gui.
  • vdsmd service is not running on the host and while tryin to start, its giving the below error message:
# /etc/init.d/vdsmd start

vdsm: Running configure_vdsm_logs
vdsm: Running run_init_hooks
vdsm: Running gencerts
